Extended Warranty Registration Service
1. Who We Are
ATN EUROPE operates this portal to register and support extended warranty coverage for ATN Europe products. This page explains the current pilot operating model used by the portal and the support path for privacy-related requests.
2. What We Collect
When you register a product through this portal, we currently collect:
- your name and email address
- your product serial number and product model
- your purchase date
- store or retailer information if you provide it or if it is captured as a receipt hint
- your receipt image submitted during registration
- a best-effort request-country signal based on deployment or runtime headers when available
- technical registration details such as submission timestamps and the IP address used to submit the form
The request-country signal is a best-effort operational hint. It is not a verified residence, billing country, or language preference.
3. Why We Use It
We use this information to:
- register, activate, and support your extended warranty
- review purchase proof, handle manual review cases, and support later warranty, service, or dispute handling
- maintain operational records for the current pilot registration system
- send warranty-related registration emails
- send optional marketing communications only when you choose to opt in and complete the email confirmation step
Optional marketing communication is separate from warranty registration. Your warranty registration does not depend on subscribing to marketing updates.
4. Where It Is Stored
Registration records are currently stored in Google Sheets as the pilot registration store. Receipt images are currently stored in Google Cloud Storage as proof assets used for verification and later support handling where needed.
We may also use supporting service providers to send registration and consent-related emails and to operate the portal, but this page is intended to describe the product at the current pilot level rather than list every vendor integration in detail.
5. Who Can Access It
Access is limited to internal personnel and protected operational surfaces that need the information to administer warranty registrations, review receipts, provide support, or handle privacy/deletion requests.
Receipt files are not published as casual customer-facing links. Internal access to receipt assets is intentionally bounded and handled through protected internal flows.
6. Receipt Handling
Receipt uploads are used as purchase proof for warranty verification, manual review, and later support or dispute handling. Before storage, the portal strips EXIF metadata from the uploaded image.
Receipt assets may be kept while there is an operational reason to retain them. They are not described here as a casual permanent archive, and this portal does not currently expose a public receipt-access feature.
7. Marketing and Unsubscribe
Marketing communication is optional and separate from warranty handling. If you choose to opt in, the current portal uses an email confirmation step before marketing consent is treated as complete.
Unsubscribing from optional marketing is not the same as deleting your warranty registration data. A marketing unsubscribe request, a privacy/deletion request, and a retention expiry event are separate processes.
8. Privacy and Deletion Requests
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you can contact us to:
- ask what personal data we currently hold about you
- ask us to correct inaccurate information
- send a privacy or deletion request for manual review
Privacy and deletion requests currently follow a manual-reviewed support path. Once we receive a personal-data deletion request, an authorized person reviews it and handles the next steps through the current operator process. We complete deletion requests within the legal period of up to 30 days from the date the request is received.
If the request was submitted by mistake or you change your mind, it may be cancelled within 48 hours. This portal does not provide an instant self-service deletion flow.
9. Retention Boundary
We keep registration data for warranty administration, support, record-keeping, and related operational needs. We keep receipt assets only as needed for verification, manual review, support, or dispute handling.
This page describes the current retention boundary, not a fully automated cleanup engine. The current pilot relies on documented operational handling and manual review rather than a published automatic deletion timer for every data category.
If de-identified or aggregated reporting is used later, it should be treated separately from customer-identifying registration records. This page does not claim an active automated anonymization lifecycle.
